    Description

Rattlesnake Island, Ohio is the only local post office ever approved by the USPS. Stamps were regularly issued from 1967 to 1989 and one last set in 2005, and would be affixed to post cards, letters, and packages (but separated from the USPS postage) for air mail to Port Clinton, OH where the USPS would receive the Rattlesnake Island mail. All Rattlesnake Island stamps are triangular in shape so as not to be confused with USPS stamps.
These Rattlesnake Island stamps were issued in 2005 and includes a .00 stamp with perforations and a .00 stamp that is imperforate, these stamps depict the Northwest view of the New Marina. These stamps are mint and never hinged.
